Eastern Healing Hands was established by Mary Liu, a licensed Master Massage Therapist in 2010. Mary is a foreign trained medical doctor, an internist. Upon new arrival to the USA in earlier 90's she put her medicine practice on hold due to English language barrier. After a year of study English Mary entered graduate school to study Adult Education, Exercise Physiology, computer science eventually she became a computer professional and worked at a few corporates in the State for many years. Due to extensively sitting and working on computer her left should developed chronical pain. Through massage therapy and stretching exercise her pain finally released. Possessed with a strong passion and solid skill from her medical training plus top-notch training on manual therapy she started this clinic and dedicate her effort to help others.

James Johnson, Licensed Massage Therapist who graduated from Blue Cliff College in Fayetteville, Arkansas in 2016. His specialties are Direct-Indirect Myofascial Release in neck, shoulder, upper back, low back, and hip by uniquely integrating Eastern techniques (such as 3-D Acupressure, Shiatsu, and Thai Massage) with Western techniques (such as Active-Passive Stretching, Swedish Massage, and Sports Massage) to effectively release deep tissue adhesion (knots), restore joint mobility, and alleviate pain. His clients enjoy his professional service, appreciate his aptitude in the Manual Therapy field, and delivering a solution to their problem.
James believes that manual therapy can be a remarkable solution to most of the common myo-skeletal ailments, such as poor posture-inducing chronical pain (slouching, rounded shoulder, forward head posture, side-laying, etc.), injuries caused by excessively repetitive motion (Golfer’s Elbow, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Runner’s Knee, etc.), and muscular inhibitions caused by unexpected incidents (Whiplash, Strain, Frozen Shoulder, etc.). James is a US military veteran. He enjoys reading a good story and goes on the occasional walk with his dogs. He loves his family and cares for his friends and clients. If someone wants someone to talk to, he is willing to be their conversational partner. |
